4,811 students from the IIT Bhubaneswar zone qualified for the prestigious JEE Advanced exam. While the zone didn’t see a top 10 rank holder, Matcha Balaaditya secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 11.

- Majji Rishi Vardhan (AIR 59), Bibaswan Biswas (AIR 85), Bhagyansh Sahu (AIR 86), and Anish Daruka (AIR 109) were among the top performers.
- Bibaswan Biswas secured rank 1 in the SC category.
- Matcha Balaaditya secured rank 1 in the OBC category.
- Tamanna Kumari emerged as the female topper from the zone with an AIR 305.
- The zone had 4 students in the top 100, 8 in the top 200, 10 in the top 300, and 18 in the top 400 ranks.
Nationally, 48,248 students qualified out of 180,200 who appeared for the exam. Ved Lahoti (IIT Delhi zone) secured the top rank with 355 marks, while Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel (IIT Bombay zone) was the top-ranked female candidate with an AIR 7 (332 marks).
Many students from coaching centers and schools in cities made it through the JEE Advanced exam. Anvesh Subham Pradhan, a city student. Finished the two exam sessions and was declared the Odisha topper in JEE Main 2024. In the exam, he had achieved a 99.997 percentile. With a 99.98 percentile, Satyendu Kar won the entrance exam session 1 winner. The JEE Main’s first session ran from January 28 to February 1; the second was from April 4 to April 9.
