The Braj region, which includes Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, and Nandgaon, is all set to mark the yearly Braj Holi Rangotsav 2025. This 40-day festivity is brimming with colorful customs and cultural activities. Inspired by the legends of Lord Krishna and Radha, the festival draws in followers and visitors from across the globe.
The party starts on February 3rd with Basant Panchami and wraps up on March 22nd with Rang Panchami.
Why Braj Holi Special
Braj Holi is a big event culturally and spiritually, mostly because it’s all about the stories of Lord Krishna and Radha. In Hindu mythology, Krishna’s fun times with Radha and the gopis (cowherd girls) in the Braj region are remembered through different Holi celebrations. These parties stand for love, happiness, and how good triumphs over evil.
