The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) declared the Madhyamik (Class 10) Result 2025 today, May 2. The announcement was made at 9 am in a press conference. The result link on the official websites, wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in, became active at 9:45 am. Schools can collect mark sheets and certificates from 10 am.
This year, 86.56% of regular candidates passed the examination. Adrita Sarkar secured the first position with an impressive 99.43%, scoring 696 out of 700 from Raiganj Coronation High School. Anubhab Biswas of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Malda, and Soumya Pal of Bankura High School jointly secured the second rank with 99.14% (694 marks). Ishani Chakraborty from Tatulpur Sarojbashini Balika Vidyalaya, Bankura, achieved the third rank with 99% (693 marks). A total of 66 students are in the top 10 merit list.

Adrita Sarkar emphasized the importance of textbooks for thorough understanding and long-term clarity. Students need their roll numbers and dates of birth to check their West Bengal Madhyamik Result 2025 online. The Madhyamik board conducted the 2025 Madhyamik exams between February 10 and 22. A total of 9,84,753 students appeared for the examination across 2,683 centers. The overall pass percentage shows a slight improvement compared to last year’s 86.15%. The district with the highest pass percentage is East Midnapore, with 96.4%.
