The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for the UGC NET June 2025 registration to May 12, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for the National Eligibility Test can now submit their applications online until 11:59 pm on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Who Can Apply?
The UGC NET June exam is for candidates who aim to secure:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor roles.
- Assistant Professor positions and admission to Ph.D. programs.
- Admission to Ph.D. programs only.
The examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with two objective-type papers. There will be no break between the papers.

- General Category: ₹ 1,150
- General-EWS/OBC-NCL: ₹ 600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹ 325
