The Supreme Court has given approval to the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to conduct NEET PG 2025 on August 3. The decision came after students raised concerns over the two-shift schedule. They argued that NEET UG, despite 20+ lakh candidates, is held in one shift, so NEET PG should be too.
As a result, the NBE postponed the June 15 exam. It informed the Court that conducting the test in a single shift needs more test centres and better infrastructure. The Supreme Court accepted this explanation and cleared August 3 as the new date.
