NITES President: After a 2-Year Delay, Infosys Finally Sent Joining Dates to 1,000 Graduates

India’s second-largest IT firm Infosys on Tuesday said it has announced joining dates for over 1,000 engineering graduates. Who were offered jobs more than two years ago. This development follows the sustained pressure by the Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) that took to lodging a formal complaint with the company.

NITES’ Victory: Harpreet Singh Saluja, president of NITES said he is happy with the decision taken by Infosys. He added that it was the secure resolution of students that led to this win and hence could not go unrecognized. Saluja said: “Our students have been through so much uncertainty and disappointment that the delay seems. ” The well-deserved smiles say it all.

Protest Threat: While NITES is happy with the development. Saluja makes it clear that no such violation in the joining date will be entertained. He has further stated that if the ground reality is different and Infosys does not meet its promise. NITES will hold a protest outside of their office.

Infosys CEO’s Assurance: Even as there is clarity and information by Infosys CEO Sahil Parekh, “I would like to assure all the students and new hires that we will honor every single job offer. He elaborated that the company would stick to its hiring plan and every eligible candidate would be inducted into Infosys.
