The wait is over for the 2.93 lakh candidates who took the CAT 2024 exam on November 24th. The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) has released the CAT 2024 official answer key and response sheet.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Download: The CAT 2024 answer key and response sheet can be downloaded from the official website, iimcat.ac.in. You’ll need your login credentials to access your individual response sheet.
- Separate Answer Keys: IIM Calcutta will provide separate answer keys for each exam slot (Slot 1, Slot 2 & Slot 3).
- Limited Download Window: Download your response sheet and answer key within the designated window, which is typically only a few days long.
How do I download the IIM CAT 2024 Response Sheet and Answer Key?
IIM Calcutta will release the CAT 2024 official answer key in PDF format. Candidates can follow the steps given below to download their CAT response sheet once released:
- Go to iimcat website: iimcat.ac.in
- Click on ‘login’
- Enter CAT ID and password
- Click on ‘answer key and response sheet’
- Download and save as CAT 2024 answer key PDF
Using the Answer Key:
- Compare your responses using the answer key to estimate your tentative CAT score.
- Analyze your answers and the official key to understand your strengths and weaknesses.
We are awaiting the official announcement from IIM Calcutta regarding the objection window for the answer key. However, it’s likely that IIM Calcutta will allow candidates to challenge the answer key for a fee.
The CAT results are expected to be released by IIM Calcutta by the second week of January 2025.
