Zerodha’s co-founder Nikhil Kamath, said that Bengaluru remains the preferred city for entrepreneurs despite the traffic crisis and infrastructure challenges. In a recent podcast, Kamath highlighted the Bengaluru city’s welcoming environment and talented workforce as key differentiators.

“The people of Bengaluru are second to none,” said Kamath, praising their love for the city and friendly nature.

He compared Bengaluru with other metros. Nikhil Kamath said Hyderabad is famous for its biryani, Mumbai is well-known for its “good-looking people”, Delhi is renowned for “people who have a lot of money and they know it”, and “Bengaluru is famous for nice people”.

According to Nikhil Kamath, Bengaluru offers a clear advantage for startups – a talent pool unmatched in its depth and affordability. He commented, “The access you get to talent in Bengaluru, the price you get it at, I don’t think you get that anywhere else in the world.” This talent pool promotes innovation and empowers companies to build and expand effectively.
