Bishnoi Gang Demands Salman Khan’s Apology in Blackbuck Case

Salman Khan blackbuck case

The Bishnoi community, known for protecting blackbucks, has demanded an apology from Salman Khan related to his long-standing blackbuck poaching case. Devendra Budiya, leader of the All India Bishnoi Society, stated an apology would be “considered” if offered by Khan.

This follows a recent shooting incident outside Khan’s Mumbai residence, allegedly linked to the Bishnoi gang. The Bishnois consider blackbucks sacred, believing them to be reincarnations of their spiritual leader.

Khan was accused of hunting blackbucks in 1998 and acquitted by the Rajasthan High Court in 2016. The state government challenged this verdict in the Supreme Court.

While Khan hasn’t commented on the recent apology demand, his father, Salim Khan, expressed trust in Mumbai Police protection after the shooting. Five people have been arrested in the shooting case, with one suspect dying in police custody under disputed circumstances.
