The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the complete UGC NET December 2025 exam schedule. Candidates can now download the subject-wise dates from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The agency released this notification on December 17.

- Exam Conclusion: January 7, 2026
- Total Shifts: 2 (09:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM)
- Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- City Slip Release: 10 days before the exam
Subject-Wise Timetable Details
NTA will conduct the examination over eight days. On the first day, December 31, the agency will hold exams only in the morning shift. However, from January 2 onwards, the board will organize papers in both shifts.
