The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the registration window for the 2025 supplementary exams for private candidates of Class 10 and Class 12. Eligible students can apply online through the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in, from May 30 to June 17, 2025.
Who Can Apply?
- Private candidates with a ‘compartment’ status from the 2025 board examinations.
- Students who passed but wish to improve their performance in certain subjects.
- Regular students with a ‘compartment’ status must apply through their respective schools.
Class 10 students can appear in up to two subjects for improvement, while Class 12 students can opt for one subject.
- Registration Window: May 30 to June 17, 2025
- Late Fee Registration: June 18 to June 19, 2025
- Examination Start Date: July 15, 2025
- Admit Card Release: First week of July 2025 (expected)

- Fill in the required details and select subjects.

Application Fee
The application fee for private candidates is as follows:
- Within India: Rs. 300 per subject
- Nepal: Rs. 1,000 per subject
Other countries: Rs. 2,000 per subject
