Sadhguru Calls for India’s Intervention in Bangladesh Crisis

Sadhguru on Bangladesh Hindu Crisis

New Delhi: Spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence against the Bangladesh Hindu Crisis. He has urged India to take immediate action to protect the minority Hindu community in its neighboring country.   

Sadhguru emphasized that the ongoing atrocities are not solely an internal matter of Bangladesh. He believes that India is a responsible neighbor. Also believe part of the same civilization, has a moral obligation to ensure the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh.   

Taking to the social media platform X, Sadhguru on Bangladesh Hindu Crisis wrote, “The atrocities being perpetrated against Hindus is not just an internal matter of #Bangladesh. Bharat cannot be Maha-Bharat if we do not stand up and act at the earliest to ensure the safety of minorities in our neighborhood. What was once part of this nation, unfortunately, became a neighborhood, but it is our responsibility to protect these people–who belong to this civilization–from these shocking atrocities.”

India has already responded to the crisis by operating a special flight to evacuate Indian citizens from Dhaka. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has assured the nation of the government’s close contact with the Indian community in Bangladesh. Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also arrived in India for consultations.   

The situation in Bangladesh remains tense, with reports of attacks on Hindu homes, temples, and businesses. The appointment of Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus as the head of Bangladesh’s interim government. Took step towards restoring peace and order in the country.   

As the situation evolves, the international community is watching closely. The safety and security of the Hindu minority in Bangladesh remain a pressing concern.
