Following a less-than-stellar MBA placement season last year, many wonder what to expect from the 2025 placements. IIM Ahmedabad has been the first to declare the conclusion of their final placement process for 2025. BCG has emerged as the top recruiter at IIMA this year, and the consumer tech industry has seen a remarkable 800% surge in job offers.
Over 80 premier MBA colleges in India. More than 50 of these are privately owned, while 40 are government-run, and one is affiliated with a semi-government body. The primary entrance exams for securing admission into these top-tier business schools are the CAT, XAT, CMAT, and MAT.

MBA Placement
The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta wrapped up their placement processes by February or March. However, they don’t release their official placement reports until after the IPRS audit in September. Some schools finished up their placements right at the start of the recruitment season. A few of these included IIM Kozhikode, IIFT, SPJIMR, Taxila Business School, and IMI, to name a few.
Taxila Business School received the “Best Placement Award” from ASSOCHAM for continuous 2018, 2019, and 2020.
