The open-top bus parade is expected to take approximately one hour, traveling from the scenic Marine Drive to the iconic Wankhede Stadium, where the trophy will be placed at the BCCI headquarters.
Echoes of 2007
This victory parade promises to be a historic event, reminiscent of the celebrations that followed MS Dhoni’s young team’s triumph in the inaugural World T20 in 2007. Back then, Mumbai witnessed a similar parade on the same route, drawing massive crowds and bringing the city to a standstill.
