Every year on October 16, people around the world celebrate World Food Day. This day is about making more people aware of hunger and poor nutrition. In 2024, the focus is on “Right to food for a better life,” which shows how important it is to see food as a basic human right.
Even though there has been some progress in lowering hunger around the world, many people still don’t have enough food. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) says that about 10% of the world’s population is always hungry. This big number shows that we need to work together quickly to solve this important problem.
