The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced earlier exam dates for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Class 10 and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 board exams in the 2024 – 2025 academic year.
Maharashtra Board Class 10 & 12 Exam Important Dates 2025
HSC (Class 12)
- Written Exams: February 11 – March 18, 2025
- Practical Exams: January 24 – February 10, 2025
SSC (Class 10)
- Written Exams: February 21 – March 17, 2025
- Practical Exams: February 3 – February 20, 2025

The MSBSHSE aims to achieve several benefits with this schedule change:
- Smoother admissions: Earlier exams will allow for a more streamlined admission process for students entering higher education in the following academic year.
- Students will have more time to prepare for competitive entrance exams after their board exams.

Detailed subject-wise schedules for practical tests, oral examinations, and written examinations will be available soon on the official MSBSHSE website.
