LNAT-UK Becomes The New Mandatory Admission Test As Jindal Global Law School Announces 2025 Admissions

LNAT-UK admission test

Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), a leading law school in India, has announced a significant shift in its admissions process. Starting with the 2025 academic year, JGLS will require all prospective undergraduate law students to take the Law National Aptitude Test-United Kingdom (LNAT-UK) for admission.

Why LNAT-UK?

JGLS sees several advantages to using the LNAT-UK admission test:

  • The LNAT-UK is an internationally recognized test accepted by top law schools worldwide. This aligns JGLS with global best practices and ensures students possess the analytical skills needed for a successful legal career.
  • Unlike traditional entrance exams, the LNAT-UK assesses verbal reasoning and critical thinking skills, not legal knowledge. This allows JGLS to identify students with the potential to excel in law studies.
  • Over 500 centers worldwide offer the LNAT-UK as a computer-based test. Students can choose a test date and location that suits them best.
  • All LNAT-UK test takers can apply for scholarships at JGLS, ranging from 10% to 75% of tuition fees.
  • JGLS offers two admission cycles, allowing students to take the LNAT-UK twice and improve their chances of admission and scholarship opportunities.

The JGLS admissions process will now have two phases:

  • Early Admission (September 1 – December 31, 2024): Students register and take the LNAT-UK during this period. Jindal Global Law School will issue admission offers in January 2025.
  • Second & Final Admission (January 1 – May 31, 2025): Students can register and take the LNAT-UK again. Jindal Global Law School will issue admission offers in June 2025.
