Bengaluru: The body of a 29-year-old woman was found stuffed in between cartons inside a refrigerator at her residence in Vyalikaval nestled on a busy thoroughfare. The victim has been identified as Mahalakshmi, a native of Nelamangala, and her body was found in more than 20 pieces.
Neighbors had reported a stench coming from the home where the grizzly find was made, according to The Associated Press. The family found her body in a 165-liter refrigerator. Meanwhile, the police believe that the woman was murdered around 15 days ago.
The victim’s husband, Hemant Das is the main suspect in the case. At the time of the murder, Mahalakshmi was living alone in Bengaluru. The police who have registered a case are investigating.
