Navratri is a special nine-day Hindu festival celebrated all over India. It’s a time for fun, devotion, and lots of colors! Each day of Navratri has a special color that people wear and celebrate with. Here are the colors for each day of Navratri and what they mean:

Day 1

Red – This bright color is like fire, showing us strength, devotion, and energy. It honors Goddess Shailputri, who’s all about power and courage.

Day 2

Royal Blue – Just like a calm blue sky, this color brings peace, calm, and infinite power. It’s for Goddess Brahmacharini, who teaches us harmony and devotion.

Day 3

Yellow – This sunny color is all about happiness, positivity, prosperity, and good times. It’s connected to Goddess Chandraghanta, known for her kindness, loving face, and grace.

Day 4

Green – Like lush green fields, this color means growth,  fertility, bounty, and new beginnings. It represents Goddess Kushmanda, who is believed to have created the world with her smile!

Day 5

Gray – This mix of black and white shows balance, like night and day. It’s for Maa Skandamata, reminding us of the importance of balance in life.

Day 6

Orange – This vibrant color is like a sunrise, a fresh start. It’s for Maa Katyayani, the brave warrior form of Durga.

Day 7

White – This pure color is like a bright light, representing cleanliness and goodness. It’s for Maa Kaalratri, the powerful form of Durga.

Pink – This soft color is like love and care. It’s for Maa Mahagauri, the embodiment of beauty and grace.
