The UGC NET December 2025 results are about to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This eligibility test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions was taken by thousands of applicants throughout India. Candidates took the exam between December 31, 2025, and January 7, 2026.
NTA administered the exam using the Computer-Based Test (CBT) method and covered 83 subjects. On January 14, 2026, the agency published the preliminary answer key following the test. The deadline for candidates to voice objections was January 17, 2026.

How to Check Your UGC NET Result 2026
Once the portal is live, follow these steps to download your result:
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- Look for the “UGC NET December 2025 Result” link on the home page.
- Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Click the submit button to view your score.
- Download the PDF and take a printout for future use.

Final Selection Process
Subject experts are currently reviewing candidate objections to prepare the final answer key. Based on these professional judgements, the NTA will create the Final Answer Key. NTA will release the final outcome and subject-wise cut-off lists after this procedure. Pay close attention to your name, roll number, and subject information on the scorecard. The National Testing Agency will host the results for all 83 subjects on its main website.
