TMC’s Moitra and Business Magnate Hiranandani Face ED Summons

The Enforcement Directorate has summoned TMC MP Mahua Moitra and businessman Darshan Hiranandani in a FEMA contravention case on March 28. Moitra, previously called twice, deferred due to official engagements. They are to appear at the ED office in Delhi. Hiranandani, facing another FEMA case, was summoned earlier. An advocate linked to Moitra was examined. Moitra, expelled from Lok Sabha for “unethical conduct”, denies allegations of the cash-for-query case involving Hiranandani and Adani Group.
