The Xavier School of Management (XSM) has announced a few important changes to the XAT 2025 exam pattern. These modifications aim to streamline the examination process and better assess candidates’ suitability for management programs.
Changes in the XAT 2025 Exam Pattern
- Integration of Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) with GD & PI: The AEW component will now be ted during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages, instead of being a separate part of the XAT exam.
- Revised General Knowledge Section: The General Knowledge section is reduced from 25 questions to 20. It will now include 12 questions on current affairs and 8 on static GK. To ensure the balanced assessment of candidates’ knowledge.
- Adjusted Exam Timings: The organizers have divided the XAT 2025 exam into two parts. Part One will have a duration of 170 minutes. Part Two, solely focused on the General Knowledge section, will be a concise 10-minute segment. This reduces the total exam time to 180 minutes.

Exam Day Reminders
- The XAT 2025 exam will take place tomorrow, January 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Arrive at the exam center at least one hour before the exam starts.
- Carry your admit card and a valid government-issued ID to the exam center.
