India’s fuel stations have long been troubled by congestion, inefficiency, and a need for more transparency. Nawgati, a fuel station startup founded by Vaibhav Kaushik, Aalaap Nair, and Aryan Sisodia, is revolutionizing the industry with innovative solutions.
It all started in 2019 when Vaibhav, a third-year student at BITS Pilani, observed cab drivers’ frustrations with long queues at fuel stations. From this idea for Nawgati came a platform designed to save fuel providers and consumers time.
After securing initial funding from the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Nawgati developed its prototype, focusing on intelligent queue management. The startup gained momentum after appearing on Shark Tank, where it secured a deal worth ₹67 lakh deal.
Nawgati offers a range of solutions to address the challenges faced by the fuel industry:
- Nawgati Fueling App
- Aaveg Dashboard
- Nawgati Billing App
Nawgati’s customer-centric approach has led to its success. The company prioritizes user feedback and continuously improves its services based on customer insights. This dedication has earned Nawgati a rating of over 4.5 stars on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Government Support
Nawgati fuel station startup has received significant support from the Indian government through schemes like the MeitY StartUp Hub TIDE 2.0 and the NIDHI Seed Support Scheme. With this backing, the startup aims to expand its reach and become a leading player in the fuel industry.
Nawgati’s continued innovation and growth will revolutionize how India fuels its vehicles. The startup is addressing the pain points of consumers and fuel providers, paving the way for a more efficient and transparent fuel industry.
