The Uttarakhand government has initiated the ‘Super 100’ program. This program offers free medical and engineering coaching to 100 bright Class 12 science students from government schools across the state. This significant step aims to equip students for competitive exams like UPSC, JEE, and NEET.

Uttarakhand School Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat introduced the ‘Super 100’ program on June 2, 2025. The scheme operates under the ‘Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan‘. It targets deserving students from government schools.

Selection and Program Structure

  • Students qualify through an entrance test conducted by the state’s school education department.
  • The chosen students receive a 45-day residential coaching program in Dehradun. This runs from June 1 to July 15, 2025.
  • During this period, the government covers food, accommodation, study materials, and coaching fees.
  • The initiative partners with the Avanti Fellows organisation, which provides expert teachers for the program.
  • After the residential phase, students return to their schools. They then continue to receive online coaching throughout the academic year.
