Bengaluru, India: The Congress government in Karnataka has taken a significant step towards improving the educational opportunities of its students. On Wednesday, the Karnataka government launches a free online coaching initiative to prepare 25,000 pre-university students for competitive exams like CET, NEET, and JEE.

  • The initiative targets 25,000 students, including 5,000 from Adarsh Government PU Colleges and 10,000 each from I PU and II PU classes.

Karnataka Government Vision

Minister for School Education and Literacy Madhu Bangarappa expressed optimism about the program’s potential. He confirmed that he would expand the initiative to benefit at least 1 lakh students in the upcoming budget, depending on its success.

Industry Collaboration for Better Employability

Karnataka Information Technology Minister Priyank Kharge announced that corporates will adopt 100 engineering colleges by next year, in a related development. This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry. They are assuring that students have the necessary skills to secure employment opportunities.
