Cybersecurity has become a serious concern for India’s critical sectors including banking, finance, insurance, government, healthcare, and telecommunications. To address this growing challenge, IIT Madras and IDBI Bank have established the IDBI-IITM Secure Systems Lab (I2SSL).
The I2SSL aims to develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to protect these crucial industries from cyberattacks. IIT Madras IDBI Bank Cybersecurity Lab Researchers will focus on several areas:

The IIT Madras IDBI Bank Cybersecurity Lab inauguration by IDBI Bank’s MD & CEO Rakesh Sharma and IIT Madras Director Prof. V. Kamakoti marks a significant step towards strengthening India’s cybersecurity infrastructure. By combining the expertise of academia and industry, the I2SSL is poised to make a substantial contribution to safeguarding the nation’s digital assets.
