You must have heard the famous hymn, Teri Sharan Me Aake, Main Dhanya Ho Gaya… Now you will be able to hear this hymn live in Sagar from the voice of Vrindavan’s young Katha Vyas Pandit Indresh Upadhyay, who mesmerizes the devotees by singing this hymn. He is coming to Sagar on 29th January to narrate the musical Shrimad Bhagwat Katha along with the presentation of his other hymns dedicated to Shreeji. Before the Katha, a grand Kalash Yatra will be taken out on 29th January. From 30th January, Pandit Upadhyay will narrate the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in the city’s Balaji Hanuman temple premises. They have started preparations for the Katha.

The main hosts of the Katha, Sagar MLA Shailendra Jain, and his wife Anushree Jain said that a grand event of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha will be organized from 30th January to 5th. Every day the katha will be held on the premises of Shri Siddha Kshetra Balaji temple from 2.30 pm to 6 pm. Saint and Katha Vyasa Pt. Idresh Upadhyay will come to Sagar on 29 January from Vrindavan Dham. The people of Sagar will give Pt. Upadhyay a grand welcome upon his arrival. MLA Jain announced that a grand Kalash Yatra will be held on January 29th.
The Kalash yatra will start from Shri Dev Rambagh temple Bada Bazar and will reach the Katha Sthal Balaji temple via various routes of the city. Anushree Jain said that 1100 women will participate in the grand Kalash yatra wearing yellow clothes and carrying kalash on their heads. Katha Vyasa Pt the chariots will carry Indresh Upadhyay and other saints at Sagar. Other saints will also participate, and the pandal will cover 35,000 square feet.

Grand Preparations for the Katha and Extensive Arrangements for Devotees
MLA Jain announced that organizers will provide separate accommodations for the numerous saints arriving from across the country to attend the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. He said that it is the great fortune of all of us that Indresh Upadhyay Ji Maharaj, the great devotee of Thakurji Maharaj Girdharilalji, is coming to the holy land of Bundelkhand for the first time to narrate the story. Preparations for the event have commenced on a grand scale. A 35,000-square-foot pandal is under construction to accommodate the Katha. We are improving seating arrangements by providing chairs for elderly devotees and mats for others.
They are constructing a grand stage for the Vyas Peetha. This stage will showcase a beautiful Vyas Peetha and offer a darshan of Thakurji. There will be a special place on one side for the music group. The height of the stage will also allow devotees to see the Vyas Peetha from a distance. The organizers will provide LED screens so that people can see and listen to the story. Apart from this, there will be special arrangements for drinking water and parking. The organizers will provide separate parking lots below and above the hill. Along with security arrangements, volunteers will also work to help people. The meeting will discuss preparations, and we will implement the suggestions.
Community Collaboration Ensures Smooth Execution of Katha
The MLA hosted a meeting at his residence on Friday to discuss preparations for the Katha. Pandits, Pujaris, and Purohits along with senior citizens attended the meeting. Everyone expressed their views and gave suggestions during the meeting.MLA Jain stated that he would implement important suggestions. Host Anushree Jain expressed gratitude.
