On Thursday morning, the Indian rupee stayed the same at 83.33 against the US dollar despite a strong US dollar and higher crude oil prices. It started at 83.32 and ended up at the same rate as the previous day, 83.33 against the dollar. Forex traders mentioned that the rupee was supported by good stock markets and money coming from other countries, which stopped it from going down in value.
