A third-year B.Tech student at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar dies on Tuesday night after falling from the fifth floor of the institute’s administrative building.
- The student has been identified as Kritika Raj, a 23-year-old from Delhi.
- Police suspect suicide but are awaiting the postmortem report for confirmation. An investigation is underway.
- According to IIT Bhubaneswar officials, Kritika fell around 11 pm on Tuesday. Security personnel on duty noticed the fall and immediately alerted the administration.
- Kritika was rushed to the institute’s medical center, but doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
