The various government departments will manage the policy’s implementation, each addressing gender-related issues within their specific areas. To track progress, we have established certain indicators, including lowering maternal mortality rates, improving sex ratios at birth, and raising female employment rates.
The revision of the policy reflects Gujarat dedication to gender equality and is in line with global sustainable development goals. By broadening its focus and introducing new priorities, the policy aims to meet the changing needs of women in the state and foster a more equitable and inclusive society.
