Busy Week Ahead for Primary Market: 7 IPOs Open, 12 Companies List

IPOs

The primary market is set for a lively week despite a cautious secondary market. Seven IPOs, primarily from the SME segment, will open for subscription, while 12 companies will debut on the stock exchanges.

  • Go Digit General Insurance, the most prominent company going public, targets to raise ₹2,614.65 crore through its IPO. The insurance company’s offering opens on May 15th with a price band of ₹258-272 per share.
  • Six other companies, including Veritas Advertising, Mandeep Auto Industries, Indian Emulsifier, Quest Laboratories, HOAC Foods India, and Rulka Electricals, will launch their IPOs this week.

Secondary Market Cautious

Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 are down from their highs due to upcoming elections and valuation concerns.

The week will also see 12 companies debut on the stock exchanges, including Indegene, which received a strong investor response.

This activity presents opportunities for investors. However, careful research is recommended given the cautious market sentiment.
