IIM Lucknow has launched its new Blended Master of Business Administration (b MBA) programme. This two-year course targets working professionals and entrepreneurs. It starts on September 25, 2025. The programme offers flexible, future-ready learning.
The bMBA blends live online classes with immersive on-campus modules. This allows professionals to manage their careers while studying. The programme has six terms. The first year covers foundational courses. The second year focuses on electives.
Curriculum and Structure
The curriculum ensures academic rigour and real-world relevance. Elective subjects include:
- Strategy
- Finance
- Marketing
- IT Systems
- Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Human Resources
A Capstone project is also part of the curriculum. It helps students apply their learning to real-world scenarios. Teaching methods include case-based studies, software training, project work, and group discussions. These build practical skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Eligibility and Admissions
Applications for the bMBA programme are open from July 11, 2025, to August 18, 2025. Online interviews will be held between September 1 and 3, 2025.

Eligibility criteria include:
- Minimum three years of full-time work experience after graduation.
- Minimum age of 24 years.
- At least 15 years of formal education.
- Minimum 50% aggregate score or equivalent CGPA.
Professionals with a CA, CS, CMA, or equivalent foreign degrees recognised by AIU can also apply. IIM Lucknow expects a diverse cohort, including professionals from India and neighbouring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
