The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 fees have been updated. IIM Kozhikode released the official notification today, July 28, 2025, confirming the new fee structure. This year, the CAT exam fee has increased for both General and SC/ST/PwD candidates.
Revised CAT 2025 Fees
- General Category: Rs. 2,600 (an increase of Rs. 100 from last year’s Rs. 2,500)
- SC/ST/PwD Categories: Rs. 1,300 (an increase of Rs. 50 from last year’s Rs. 1,250)
This marks a continuous trend of annual revisions in the CAT exam fees.
IIM Kozhikode announced the CAT 2025 exam date as November 30, 2025. The exam will happen in three shifts across approximately 170 cities in India. The exam pattern and syllabus remain unchanged from previous years.
CAT 2025 Registration and Fee Submission
The online registration for CAT 2025 begins on August 1, 2025 (10:00 AM) and closes on September 13, 2025 (5:00 PM).

Payment is mandatory during the application process. Candidates can fill the form earlier, but they must pay the fee before the registration deadline. Unpaid applications will be cancelled. The CAT exam fee is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
