The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have activated the answer key objection management window for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now challenge the provisional answer key. This facility is available on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.Â
This is a crucial time for thousands of students aspiring to gain admission to India’s premier B-schools. The exam was conducted in three sessions. Now, students can point out discrepancies in the official answers. However, they will have to provide valid evidence for each claim.

Steps to Challenge the CAT Answer Key 2025
- Visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the ‘CAT Answer Key 2025 Objection Window‘ link.
- Enter your registered login credentials.
- Download and view the provisional answer key.
- Select the specific question you want to challenge.
- Upload the necessary supporting documents or evidence.
- Pay the required processing fee for each objection.
- Submit the form and save the confirmation slip.

After the objection window closes on December 10, subject experts will review the objections. If they find any claim to be valid, they will revise the answer key. Following this, the IIMs will recalculate the scores. The authorities will also refund the processing fee for valid objections. Finally, the IIMs will release the final answer key and the CAT 2025 results. Candidates should regularly check the website for updates.
