The National Test Agency has released the dates of the JEE Main examination. The first session will be held between 22 January and 30 January 2025. As this is an official notification from the NTA, candidates must visit the official website for the latest updates. The admit card will be released three days prior to the examination, and it is expected that the city slip will be out next week. NTA has disclosed that they have created many examination centres across the country. 15 examination centres are created in foreign. JEE main session 2 will be organised between 01 April to 08 April 2025. After the result of the session 1 examination registration for session 2 will be started.

Examination Pattern Updates By NTA
On the official website of JEE Main 2025, the NTA has changed some patterns in examination. As per the latest information, the optional questions from both the paper – Paper 1 and Paper 2 have been removed. It is now mandatory to give answers to all 5 questions in section B. Also, NTA has started the negative marking in section B of both papers.
- NTA has decided to remove the optional question from JEE main 2025 onwards which they started during covid-19 pandemic.
- 3 Subjects are in the syllabus of JEE Main- Chemistry, Physics and Maths.
- JEE Main will have 3 papers – Paper 1 is for BE and Btech, Paper 2A for BArch and Paper 2B for BPlan.
- Paper 1 of JEE Main 2025 will have 75 MCQs.

- On the homepage click on the JEE Main 2025 Examination City information slip.
- Now you will be redirected to a new webpage.
- Enter your credentials and log into the panel.
- Now see the city slip and download it.
