The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has started the registration for CLAT 2025 UG admissions counselling. Eligible candidates can now register on the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The registration window is open from May 17, 2025 (4:00 PM) to May 21, 2025 (5:00 PM). This counselling is for admissions to the five-year integrated undergraduate law programs at participating NLUs.
Only candidates who received an invitation via email, SMS, or the CLAT 2025 portal can participate. These candidates must log in to their accounts to confirm eligibility. The registration involves two main steps: updating NLU preferences and paying the counselling fee. Candidates who have already registered and paid earlier do not need to register again. However, they can update their NLU preferences before the deadline.
- Registration: May 17 to May 21, 2025
- First Allotment List: May 26, 2025
- Second Allotment: June 4, 2025
- Final Allotment: June 20, 2025
The counselling registration fee is ₹ 30,000 for General category candidates. For ST/SC/OBC/BC/EWS/PwD category candidates, the fee is ₹ 20,000. The fee is refundable under certain conditions.

To register for CLAT 2025 counselling, follow these steps:
- Visit the official website: consortiumofnlus.ac.in
- Log in using your CLAT 2025 credentials.
- Check for a counselling invitation.
- Click on “Update NLU Preferences” and select at least 15 NLUs.
- Submit and review your preferences. You can update them until May 21.
- Click on “Make Payment” to pay the counselling registration fee.
- Ensure the payment status shows “Payment Successful.”
