The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) announced the continuation of their prestigious Bright Minds Scholarships for the fourth year in a row. This scholarship program is open to the top 100 rank holders of JEE Advanced 2024.

- Provides an annual scholarship of Rs 3 lakh for four years
- Covers undergraduate program expenses at IIT Kanpur
- Requires a minimum CGPA of 8.0 for renewal each year

IIT Kanpur congratulates all the JEE Advanced qualifiers, especially those from the Kanpur Zone. Manya Jain (AIR 75) emerged as the zone topper this year. Other notable performers include Shubham Nair (AIR 131), Garv Chaudha (AIR 163), Shreshtha Gupta (AIR 191), and Siddharth Aggarwal (AIR 306). It’s important to note that Shreshtha Gupta is the zone’s top-ranking female candidate.
These scholarships ensure deserving students can pursue their BTech or BS studies at IIT Kanpur without financial constraints.
IITK continues its special "Bright Minds Scholarships" for All-India Top 100 rank-holders. The scholarships, generously supported by alumnus Mr. Lokvir Kapoor, were introduced in 2021 to ensure that no meritorious student faces financial barriers to their academic pursuits.
