Srini Pallia: The New CEO and MD of Wipro

Wipro has appointed Srini Pallia as its new CEO and MD, effective immediately, following Thierry Delaporte’s resignation. Pallia, a Wipro veteran, has held various leadership roles, including President of the Consumer Business Unit and Global Head of Business Application Services.

Who is Srini Pallia?

Srini Pallia is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Limited, a $11.3 Billion global information technology, consulting, and business process services company with over 245,000 employees worldwide.

He joined Wipro in 1992.
He served as CEO for Americas 1, leading a wide range of industry sectors and establishing vision and growth strategies.
Holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s in management studies from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
Graduate of Harvard Business School‘s Leading Global Businesses executive program and the Advanced Leadership Program at McGill Executive Institute.
