The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has made a significant breakthrough by developing the country’s lightest bulletproof jacket. This innovation comes from the DRDO’s Defence Materials and Stores Research and Development Establishment (DMSRDE) located in Kanpur.
Lightest DRDO Bulletproof Jacket in the Country
- Designed by DMSRDE, Kanpur.
- Offers protection against the highest threat level (Level 6) as per Indian standards.
- Lightweight construction is achieved through novel materials and processes.
