The results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections have been declared, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 240 seats and the Indian National Congress (Congress) has won 99 seats. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has won a majority with over 290 seats, while the Indian National Developmental, Inclusive Alliance (India) bloc has won over 230 seats.

- Congress almost doubled its seat count by winning 99 seats as compared to 2019.
- Despite BJP having fewer seats, NDA won the majority with more than 290 seats.
- The India Bloc won over 230 seats, with the Samajwadi Party emerging as the largest party in Uttar Pradesh.
- The BJP performed well in Odisha, winning 20 of the 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state. In Andhra Pradesh, BJP and its allies won 21 out of 25 seats.
Congress Chief Mallikarjun Kharge: “These election results are ‘Janta ka result’. This is the victory of people and the democracy. We were saying that the fight is Modi vs the people. In the 18th Lok Sabha election, we humbly accept the result.”
