Pune Porsche accident: 17-year-old accused faces 10 years in jail, says commissioner

Amitesh Kumar, the commissioner of Pune police, stated on Friday that the young person who is accused of killing two techies in the city with his father’s Porsche automobile could spend ten years in prison under Section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.

The Porsche accident happened early Sunday morning in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. The teen, reportedly intoxicated at the time, was driving a Porsche without a license plate. Both software engineers died in the crash.

Initially, the Juvenile Justice Board ordered him to submit a 300-word essay and granted the teenager bail, sparking a public shouting.

 After a police appeal, the board remanded the teen to an observation home until June 5th. The boy’s father, a real estate developer named Vishal Agarwal, has also been arrested.
