Bengaluru witnessed a unique celestial phenomenon on Wednesday, aptly named ‘Zero Shadow Day’.
During this time around noon, the sun’s rays hit the ground at a perfectly vertical angle, causing objects to cast no shadows. Residents across the city captured photos of themselves and inanimate objects standing shadowless under the midday sun.
This phenomenon occurs twice a year in Bengaluru, with the next one expected on August 18th.
