The Ministry of Education invites applications for the prestigious National Award to Teachers 2024. This award recognizes outstanding faculty members in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) for their dedication and exceptional contributions to teaching and learning.
Who Can Apply?
- Regular faculty members of colleges, universities, or HEIs in India
- Minimum five years of full-time teaching experience (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- Age limit: 55 years or below (as of application deadline)
- Not currently serving as Vice-Chancellor, Director, or Principal (regular or officiating)

How to Apply?
- Nominations are accepted until June 20, 2024, through the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal.
- Applications must follow the prescribed format and utilize a system-generated OTP for verification.
- Self-nominations and nominations by colleagues, former Vice-Chancellors/Directors/Principals (if under 55 and actively working) are all welcome.
