NBEMS Raises Stipends for Medical Trainees: New Financial Benefits

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has recently notified a new stipend structure for medical trainees. This is to benefit your trainees by reducing financial toxicity for them. As they care for the health of our patients and ensure fair pay in exchange for their valuable work.

  • Stipends for medical trainees across a nexus of programs including NBEMS have been increased.
  • Depending on the hospital, they recommend in addition to stipends giving accommodation.
  • Stipends will be revised every quarter according to government rules

  • Direct 6-year NBEMS trainees who clear the DNBF Part-I Examination until November / December Sessions shall also be eligible to receive the same stipend as the DNB Super Specialty (2/3 year) training program.
  • Hospitals may offer stipends above the required amounts.
  • Accommodation Provided but not mandatory. No hospitals can decrease stipends for housing.

The rules of this new stipend rotation are an important initial phase to guarantee. That doctor students acquire fair pay for their efforts.
