The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially announced the results for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2025.

High Vacancies and Low Attendance
The commission notified the examination on February 20. While over 6.26 lakh candidates applied, only 2.65 lakh aspirants took the test on October 12. Consequently, the competition ratio changed.
Moreover, the commission increased the total number of posts from an initial 200 to 920. This revision includes:
- 814 posts for Provincial Civil Services (PCS).
- 106 posts for Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) and Regional Forest Officer (RFO).
Officials stated they will release the detailed scores and category-wise cut-offs only after the declaration of the final results. This follows the standard procedural norms of the commission.

- Locate the ‘Results’ or ‘Information Bulletin’ section on the homepage.
- Click on the link titled “UPPSC PCS Prelims Result 2025” or “ACF/RFO Prelims Result 2025.”
- Open the PDF file that appears.
- Use Ctrl + F and enter your roll number to search the list.
- Download the file for future use during the Mains application process.
