How to Calculate Your Marks
Candidates must follow the official marking scheme to get their estimated score.
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: -0.25 mark
- Unattempted Question: 0 mark
The total score can be calculated using a simple formula.
- Total Score = (Number of Correct Answers × 1) – (Number of Incorrect Answers × 0.25)
For instance, if a candidate gets 150 questions right and 30 questions wrong, the score will be 142.5. This score is a raw estimate. SSC will apply a normalization process later.

Raise Objections to the Answer Key
