The Rajasthan Patwari Exam 2025 saw a high attendance rate of over 88%, with more than 6 lakh candidates appearing for the written test. However, the exam was not without incident. Authorities caught two dummy candidates impersonating actual aspirants. The incidents occurred in Dholpur and Udaipur during the first shift of the exam on Sunday.

Impersonators Busted by Biometrics

The two impersonators were identified through the biometric verification process. Their fingerprints did not match the official records of the registered candidates. The chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB), Major Alok Raj, confirmed the arrests. Both individuals were immediately detained. The case has been sent to investigating agencies for further inquiry.

Preliminary reports suggest the two suspects have a history of impersonating candidates in other competitive exams. Officials believe they may be linked to a larger exam racket. A thorough investigation is currently underway to uncover any connections.

Strong Attendance and Board’s Gratitude

The exam saw a remarkable turnout. The morning shift had an 88.24% attendance, while the evening shift saw an even higher 89.52%. More than 6 lakh candidates out of 6.76 lakh registered appeared for the test.

Government Job vs Private Jobs – Which One is Better?

Major Alok Raj thanked the district administrations for their help in conducting the exam successfully. He also appreciated the candidates for their patience and cooperation. The recruitment drive aims to fill 3,705 Patwari positions. The process involves a written test followed by document verification. The exam was conducted smoothly across 176 centers in Jaipur alone, accommodating over 1.3 lakh candidates.
