The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the upcoming teacher eligibility test in 132 cities across the country. Candidates can attempt this examination in 20 different languages. The registration window for the CTET February 2026 session is now active.

CBSE will hold the exam in an offline OMR-based mode. The test consists of multiple-choice questions. Fortunately, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Paper 1: For candidates who wish to teach Classes 1 to 5.
- Paper 2: For candidates who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific academic requirements. The minimum age limit is 18 years, but there is no upper age limit.
- For Paper 1: You need Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks. Additionally, you must hold a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- For Paper 2: You require a Graduation degree along with a B.Ed (passed or appearing).

Interested candidates should visit the official website, ctet.nic.in First, fill in your personal and academic details. Next, upload your photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Finally, pay the application fee to submit the form. Always keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
