IREDA Loan Sanctions Rise 27% to ₹47,453 Crore in FY 2024-25, Loan Book Grows 28% to ₹76,250 Crore

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) just shared some exciting news about its financial performance for the year ending March 31, 2025, based on preliminary figures. IREDA Loan Growth is increasing. Loan approvals for the 2024-25 fiscal year hit ₹47,453 crore, a jump of 27% from ₹37,354 crore the year before. The amount of loans actually given out increased by 20%, reaching ₹30,168 crore, up from ₹25,089 crore in FY 2023-24. The total outstanding loans also grew by 28%, coming in at ₹76,250 crore as of March 31, 2025, compared to ₹59,698 crore at the end of the prior fiscal year.

Shri Pradip Kumar Das, the Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, said, “Releasing IREDA’s yearly performance report on the final day of the financial year really shows how seriously we take open communication and strong management practices with our investors. The IREDA keeps growth in loan approvals, distributions, and overall lending is a clear sign of our unwavering support for renewable energy initiatives. We’re fully committed to helping India shift to cleaner energy by providing creative and easy-to-get financing options.”
