Internationally renowned singer Adele is set to take a break from music after her Las Vegas residency, “Weekends with Adele,” concludes this November.
During a recent interview, Adele confirmed she has no plans for a new album in the future. She expressed a desire to explore other creative avenues for a while.
This decision aligns with previous comments hinting at a break. In a January concert, Adele stated her need to pause from creating and performing music.
Adele’s residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace concludes with a final performance on November 23rd, 2024.
Before wrapping up her residency, Adele will perform a special series of open-air shows in Munich, Germany. These unique concerts will be held on August 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st.
The one-of-a-kind venue can accommodate up to 80,000 fans per night and marks Adele’s first performance in mainland Europe since 2016.
Adele shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming Munich concerts on her Instagram account. She described the venue as a “bespoke pop-up stadium” designed specifically for the show.
Earlier this year, Adele voiced concerns about the potential strain on her voice during the residency shows. The extensive singing required for each two-hour live performance worried her.
With the announcement of Adele Las Vegas residency break, Adele will finally get some well-deserved rest after an intense performance schedule.
